Lindsay Woodforde

Lindsay worked on his fathers Wallaroo farm before joining the Army at Keswick Barracks S. A. on the 2nd of April 1963.

After recruit training at Kapooka, his initial Corp allocation was a choice between Infantry or Artillery... and as he could not see himself walking too much, he subsequently decided that Artillery was the better choice.
Though trained as a Gun number, he qualified as a Bombardier driver.
He joined 111 LAA and stayed some 207 days.
Lindsay was discharged on the 1st April, 1966 at Keswick.

Lindsay is now retired on "Woodley Farm", Wallaroo.
Currently he and wife Sue enjoy riding their pushbikes, taking camping holidays or sailing on their yacht.
